PEK is Dedicated to a New Approach to
Urban and Community Forestry Management
PEK Services is dedicated to developing a new approach to urban forestry management that prioritizes social, economic, and environmental equity outcomes. With a wealth of expertise and resources, PEK aims to increase awareness of Urban and Community Forestry by restoring tree canopy in underserved communities. The organization collaborates with federal, state, and local municipalities, community groups, and residents nationwide to reforest public spaces, convert vacant and blighted land into productive green spaces, and create a balanced and healthy ecosystem.
Additionally, PEK assists community groups in beautifying gateways, medians, and parks with flowering beds and new habitats that help to restore balance to neighborhood greenspaces and support economic development efforts. PEK also provides education and outreach to residents, including youth, to cultivate environmental stewards.
